Trip in the Highlands

Hi there!

Today, I would like to share with you one of my Scottish trip that I realised in October (when days were long and warm :) ). 

With two friends of mine, I went to the Highlands which were organised by « International Student UK Tours ». 

Isle of Skye

We left on a Friday in the afternoon and after several hours of bus we arrived at Inverness, the largest city of the Highlands. After, having a little walk in the city by night and drunk some glasses we came back at our youth hostel. 

The next day, we left early in the morning our place to go to the Isle of Skye.
Along the way, we had some break to admire the beautiful landscape and to take pictures.

On arrival to the Isle of Skye, we were breathless, the resort we were staying at was absolutely beautiful and the weather was perfect, so lucky we were…

Then, we visited the Loch Ness and it was so magical because the weather became pretty bad which allows to be in in scary atmosphere and try to imagine where Nessie could be hidden…

The following day, we went through several amazing places, we saw a lake, some cute hamlets, and most important we had the pleasure to perceive the place where was filmed the last scene of the last James Bond, Skyfall…I was so proud :)

To finish this trip, we were amazed in front of the charming Loch Lomond but unfortunately we did not stay for a very long time… (but I went back last week!)

To resume this post, I strongly suggest you to organised your trip in the Highlands because that’s the real and beautiful Scotland !

But I recommend you to organise your own trip with your friends because it will be less expensive than with an organisation and you can decide on every details as you want it.
