What do you think about a magnificent walk?

Without making several kilometres outside the city, you can discover magnificent places inside. This is the case with two beautiful gardens in the heart of the city!

The Botanic Garden

The Kelvingrove Park

The Kelvingrove Park is a beautiful public park located on the River Kelvin in the West End’s area.
The park is 34 hectares in size and contains a bowling greens, tennis courts, a skateboard park, various
statues and monuments such as the gorgeous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
You absolutely need to go there to discover the beauty of this park, of course it’s better to go when there
are sunny days.
I remember the first time I went there, it was only one week after I arrived in Glasgow and I was amazed by
all the colours of the park, its tranquillity and especially all the squirrels which take a stroll…
So when it’s sunny or if you’re boring or something else, you definitely have to go there to walk, read a
book or just enjoy the view.

The Botanic Garden

If you look well, you’ll find a small way which binds the Kelvingrove park to The Botanic Garden, so cute.
Glasgow Botanic Gardens is an arboretum and public park located in the West End of Glasgow.
It features several glasshouses, the most notable of which is the Kibble Palace.
In this garden, there is a Tearoom which it’s open 10am to 4.15 pm with a marvellous choice of menu
such as: Breakfast, lunch and a large choice of traditional teas!
