For my first post, I would like to share with you one of my favourite place in Glasgow to have a good time with your friends !
Ashton lane is a beautiful little street in the heart of the West End where you can find different bars and restaurant.
If you want to enjoy a drink in a cosy place, you definitely must go to The Ubiquitous Chip where is hidden a little roof terrace !
But you can also eat a delicious dish (they’ve been awarded the Good food Guide Readers’ Restaurant of the Year for Scotland 2013) in a cosy atmosphere.
Besides, The Ubiquitous Chip Restaurant allows their customers to discover a wide range of cuisines, wines and cultures during special events.

Now, If you prefer to savour different fantastic cocktails: mojitos, French martinis, cosmopolitan...you must go to the Vodka Wodka.
And, behind the bar, you’ll find The beer garden which is awesome.
Just to know, from Sunday till Thursday evening, some cocktails are at half-price… ;)

One of the wonderful place in Ashton lane is certainly the Grosvenor which is also a restaurant/bar and a cinema.
Downstairs, there is the Grosvenor Cinema opened in 1921.
Today the cinema still has two rooms with almost 250 seats each.
You can watch every types of movies: blockbuster, old, classic or independent movie with your beer in the hand ! Very relaxed atmosphere !
Upstairs, there is the Grosvenor Cafe. At first, you’ll be surprised because from the outside it seems very small when actually there is a huge room.
It is the perfect place to watch your rugby match because there is a big screen in the middle of the room.
Besides they do some fancy cocktails at reduced prices.

To finish this post, one of my last favourite restaurant in this lane is The Brel. This place has something magic due to the cutest and simple decoration and their magical garden…You can share some French dishes such as The Fondue or their Moules Frites.
I recommend this place for people who wants to have a pleasant and peaceful evening.
