Two weeks ago I went to The Lighthouse, a museum dedicated to the design and the architecture. It was designed by the architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh and is a classified building.

So, This museum has a very particular shape because it looks like a « Lighthouse » and is situated in the heart of the city center in a parallel street of Buchanan St. It is a visitor centre exhibition space and events venue. Besides at the top of the museum, you’ll discover a wonderful 360° view of Glasgow !
You have to go there !

I especially liked the view of this museum and the exhibition on all the buildings realized by Mackintosh, it was really interesting to see the models of its works and to learn more about this important character.

Then, The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA), situated in the heart of the City Centre, is Scotland's most visited modern art gallery displaying work that highlights the interests, influences and working methods of artists from around the world. You should check the different expositions and events before going there with the aim of appreciating as much as possible.
When I went there, I really liked the building itself which was impressive.
Moreover, I suggest you to visit George Square, (just 2 minutes from the GoMA) it’s the principal civic square in the city which is very gorgeous.
